Room Block available HERE for booking at the Westing in Forrestal Village.

Link expires September 8th, so please book before then!

Where should I stay?

We’ve reserved a room block at the Westin in Forrestal Village. There are also several other hotels nearby, including options closer to The Ashford. If you need help with booking or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

How will transportation work?

The main events will be at the Westin and The Ashford. There will be shuttle transportation provided to and from The Ashford on Sunday, September 21st. It is approximately a 40-minute drive. The shuttle will depart from the Westin to the Ashford promptly at 1:45pm. The shuttle will depart from the Ashford back to the Westin at 10:30pm after the reception. There is parking available at all locations, so if you prefer to drive your own vehicle, please feel free to do so!

Where should I fly into?

The most convenient and closest airports to the wedding festivities is EWR and PHL.

What should we wear?

The events will be Eastern formal (sarees or lehengas for women, kurta pajamas or sherwanis for men) or semi-formal—but more than anything, we just want you to look and feel your best. There’s absolutely no requirement to wear Indian clothing—please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to dance!

What if I can’t make it to all the events?

We completely understand that travel and scheduling can be tricky, and we’re grateful you’re celebrating with us in any way you can. If you’re short on time, we hope you’ll consider our Wedding Ceremony and Reception.

Will there be an after party?

We have the venue reserved past 11pm, but the formal reception will wrap up at 11pm as we understand that a Sunday night event can be challenging for those who need to work the next day. However, if you’re able and would like to stay longer, there’s no rush to leave—we’d love for you to hang out and continue celebrating with us! If you are planning to take the shuttle, it will be departing from The Ashford back to The Westin at 10:30pm.

Who should I reach out to if I have more questions?

We will be sending emails for any extra details so please check your inbox/junk folders for any emails from us. Feel free to reach out to the groom’s sister (Anushka) at 609-240-8948 or the bride’s sister (Katie) at 415-350-7323 if anything else is needed.

Attire & Comfort Tips

Our wedding day will be a joyful but packed full-day celebration—from the Baraat to the reception—with lots of dancing and festivities. We understand that traditional Indian attire/ formal attire can sometimes be heavy or warm, especially if the weather turns hot. To ensure your comfort, the venue provides private spaces where you can change into something lighter or more comfortable during the day. Feel free to bring a change of clothes so you can enjoy every moment of the celebration with ease!
